von Guild Wars 2 Heart of Thorns auf englisch veröffentlicht. Dort werden euch einige Dinge erklärt und es wird zudem bestätigt, dass es keine Collectors Edition geben wird. Ab dem 23. Juni bekommen zudem auch offizielle Partner-Shops die Erlaubnis Heart of Thorns zu verkaufen.

If you’re buying Heart of Thorns for your own account, you can make your pre-purchase either on our website or within the game. Buying from within the game automatically applies the pre-purchase serial code to the account that’s logged in at the time, so if you’re buying Heart of Thorns for someone else, you’ll want to use buy.guildwars2.com instead.
Online via Guildwars2.com:
- Go to buy.guildwars2.com.
- Select the version of Heart of Thorns that you prefer.
- Following the remaining on-screen instructions.
- Once your purchase is complete and your pre-purchase serial code applied, your account will be upgraded the next time you log in to Guild Wars 2. You should see your title immediately after this login. Within a few hours, you'll get an in-game mail message with any bonus items included in the edition you purchased.
In-Game:
- Log in to the Guild Wars 2 account you want to upgrade.
- Go to the Black Lion Trading Company (press “O” by default).
- Click the Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns banner.
- Select the version of Heart of Thorns that you prefer.
- Following the remaining on-screen instructions.
- Once your purchase is complete, your account will be upgraded the next time you log in to Guild Wars 2. You should see your title immediately after this login. Within a few hours, you'll get an in-game mail message with any bonus items included in the edition you purchased.
I completed my pre-purchase, but I don't see my title or items in-game! How do I get them?
If you pre-purchased via buy.guildwars2.com or one of our official retail partners, make sure you've applied your pre-purchase serial code to your account before logging in. If you pre-purchased in-game, your account will be upgraded the next time you log in to Guild Wars 2.
Once your account is upgraded, you should see your title immediately in the Achievements section of the Hero Panel (default hotkey "H"). Within a few hours, you'll get an in-game mail message with any bonus items included in the edition you purchased.
Is a pre-purchase the same as a pre-order?
No. The term “pre-order” can vary from seller to seller, but usually means that you’re just reserving an opportunity to purchase at a later date. In the case of the Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns pre-purchase, you’re paying for the game in advance of its release and receiving all of the other benefits of your purchase right away. For instance, if you pre-purchase the deluxe edition, you will pay the full purchase price and receive all of the pre-purchase and deluxe bonuses/items within 3-4 hours of redeeming the serial code. Then, when the expansion is released, you’ll get access to the new content.
What are the benefits of making a pre-purchase?
Everyone who pre-purchases Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns (whether via buy.guildwars2.com, official retail partners, or in-game) will receive access to all Beta Weekend Events and the exclusive in-game title “Maguuma Trailblazer.” The pre-purchase bonuses and all other digital items from your purchase will be delivered in-game within 3-4 hours of redeeming your serial code.
Can I pre-purchase through my favorite retailer?
Yes. Starting on June 23, 2015, you’ll be able to pre-purchase boxed and digital editions of Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns from our official retail partners. You may also be able to pre-order through retailers, but there is no official pre-order program and pre-purchasing is the only way to receive the benefits of our pre-purchase program, including access to all of the Beta Weekend Events.
Note that the Ultimate edition is only available for purchase in-game and via buy.guildwars2.com. Additionally, there won’t be an option to upgrade to the Ultimate edition later if you decide to purchase the Standard or Deluxe edition.
What are Beta Weekend Events and when will they take place?
Beta Weekend Events are selected weekends when everyone who pre-purchases the game is invited to test Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns. BWEs may include new content or a repeat of content available in previous tests.
The Heart of Thorns Beta Weekend Events will be announced as we get closer to them.
Is there a way to participate in Beta Weekend Events without pre-purchasing Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns?
The only way to guarantee access to the Beta Weekend Events is to pre-purchase Heart of Thorns.
What versions of Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns are available for pre-purchase?
You can pre-purchase all versions (Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate) of Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns. For more details on each version, including pricing and all of the extra goodies included, head to buy.guildwars2.com.
Once you’ve redeemed your serial code the pre-purchase bonuses and digital items associated with the edition you chose will be delivered to your account in-game within 3-4 hours.
If I purchase the Standard or Deluxe editions of Heart of Thorns will I be able to upgrade to Deluxe or Ultimate later?
You will be able to upgrade to Deluxe in the gem store, but the only way to receive the Ultimate edition is to buy it from buy.guildwars2.com or in-game.
Is there a physical collector’s edition planned for Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns?
There are no plans for a physical collector’s edition for Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns. Heart of Thorns will be offered in Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions (all of which are available for pre-purchase and include digital in-game bonuses only).
When will Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns be released?
